So I went to San Diego for a few days to visit a friend and had some amazing fun times! I’m not gonna write about it because there’s already too many photos to go through and I want to get it done fast. But yeah, it was great. We went to the zoo which was the best.

My flight was delayed 😦

So I’ve been lazy updating this again…but on the 21st I turned 23!

Me, Tom and Andy went to Pier 39 to go to the aquarium, Ali was working so she couldn’t go. We got the bus there, it took a bit longer than the BART but the walk there was quicker so it was grand, apart from me feeling sick on the bus, bleh.

We went to the aquarium, didn’t have to buy a ticket because Andy andAli bought me one for my birthday, aswell as some sweets, some hilarious sunglasses with a moustache on them and an SF Giants foam finger, wahey! 😀 No present from Tom yet…

A few pictures from the aquarium! We got to pet a stingray and the guy said shaaak.

After the aquarium we went back to the massage place to see how much it would cost for one of the crazy water massages, it was only $20 so we said we’d go for it! We had to wait a few minutes so we got the oxygen bar and the crazy massage things from last time for free. The massage was amazing, it was the most relaxing thing ever and I wish it never ended.

Well the postman didn’t arrive today with my laser card 😦 I’m hoping he comes tomorrow, that’d be lovely. I got up about 11:30 and had some frosties. I facetimed the fam for a while, broke the news I got my septum pierced and they all thought it was gross, whatever. I talked to Jess for ages and then I got dressed and me Tom and Ali went out for lunch. We went to the Crepe House, I’ve been dying to try it for ages! I got the tofu scramble which wasn’t really like a tofu scramble, but it came with toast and the most amazing potatoes EVER. Going to try the omlette next time, mmm…

After lunch we went to Whole Foods and we picked Andy up a new bed off the street…it’s the cushions off a chaise longue and it looks so comfy, way better than the burst air bed he’s been sleeping on for the past while. So we carried that back and we just chilled for a while. We watched some Supernatural. I was trying to have a nap but kept getting woken up by Andy trying to quietly scare me with his knife, hahaha, so lovely. Just as I was nodding off Tom screamed at me to tell him where the nearest art shop was, so I told him and we both headed off to Dick Blicks on Market Street.

We got the BART there and it was only a few minutes walk from the station. It was such a cool place, we stayed there for a good while trying to pick out what we wanted, Tom had gone for a few sketchpads for designing stuff. I bought two new moleskines because I want to start keeping a diary again, a nice pen and a cool new iPhone case, it’s like the “Hello my name is:” stickers, sweet.

We grabbed a Starbucks on the way home, I finally tried the mocha coconut frappucino and it was amazing! So happy I finally tried it, definitely getting it more often now that I’ve discovered the one near us isn’t up a giant hill like we originally thought.

When we got home I cooked some tater tots and now me, Andy and the meow meows are watching some Supernatural. It was a good day all round 🙂

So I got my septum pierced the other day! I didn’t want to blog about it because I wanted to tell my family first, they hate it. But whatever, I can flip it up when I’m around them so they’ll never have to see it if they don’t want to 🙂

I went to Mission Ink in San Francisco, located on Mission Street if it wasn’t obvious. I was pierced by the lovely Sasha and she did an amazing job at everything! The place was super clean and she talked me through everything and we had a laugh. It almost wasn’t done because I have a weird nose, but I said if it was possible and it will look good to go for it, it ended up turning out perfect! It didn’t hurt getting it done, putting in the jewellery was the worst part because it was a curved barbell so they’re always more awkward. My eyes started watering a bit and I felt like I needed to sneeze but me being the weirdo I am, I just had a coughing fit instead, anyone else do this? I do…

So yeah, it’s all going good, I absolutely love it! I’m so happy I got it done whether others like it or not 🙂

Havin a poke around…

So the lovely post man woke me up this morning and delivered my credit card to me, finally! I went back to bed for another bit because it was pretty early. I got up and had some breakfast and once I was showered and ready I headed out to the BART. I hopped off at Powell and went to do some shopping. First stop was Forever 21 and it wasn’t the best, not much there which was kind of annoying. I went to Sephora next and it was so hard to not buy everything! I ended up buying a hand cream and Kat Von D eyeshadow palette, it’s so nice! I was going to get an Urban Decay one until I spotted the Kat Von D one, it’s nicer and was $5 cheaper too, bargain! While I Was paying I was told that there’s a meet and greet with Kat Von D in the store tomorrow so I got the wristband and might head along to that, exciting.

My new eyeshadow palette, the packaging is so lovely.

I went to Urban Outfitters and bought nothing, then H&M and bought a nice owl t-shirt and then bought a tank top in Old Navy, I didn’t look around too much because I always find the staff are a bit too in your face, I like to shop in peace like at home, where nobody asks you if you want help because it’s annoying…

I headed home and chilled at the apartment for a while. Tom came home from work and we got pizza for dinner, I got cheese with courgettes, a vegetable! Me, Tom and Ali headed out for a takeaway coffee and came back and watched some It’s Always Sunny and Modern Family, so good.

Image

Just chilling out now, everyone is on their laptops doing various things. No plans for tomorrow, might go to the Kat Von D thing or if it’s nice I might head to the park and do some drawing/reading, we’ll see! I’ll probably end up in the coffee shop.

My cards didn’t come today. I didn’t really do anything. Me, Ali and Andy watched Hellhouse and when Tom came home we went to the shop to get stuff for dinner, he made some lovely pasta! After dinner I went out to get some ice-cream, sour patch kids and some water. I just watched Workaholics for the night and then we watched Dr.Horrible, so funny!

I didn’t really sleep well again last night, woke up and got up about 11 I think. I had some frosties for breakfast and then headed to Muddy’s, Tom and Ali were already there. I had a mocha and Ali left before us. Andy and Ali came back at about 2:30 and we headed to McDonalds. I didn’t get anything so I made a tater tot and cheese sandwich when I got back, I’m an addict. Oh well.

Tom put Dolores in a bag, she surprisingly liked it.

We hung around the house and watched a few scary films, well they weren’t scary but they weren’t too awful. We headed to the laundromat and got some froyo too. I have a lovely clean towel now, wahey! We had some pasta for dinner and we’re just watching more films now.

Did I mention it rained? It did 🙂
